Lead Digital Project Manager - EHS Systems & Data
Role Summary:
Oversee the planning, organization, and implementation of multiple and complex digital projects supporting Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) systems, enterprise data, and reporting. Enables delivery of the EHS strategy through technology, analytics, and integrated digital platforms.
What You Will Do:
- Manages day-to-day digital and IT projects supporting EHS systems.
- Develop contingency plans for system integration, data integrity, and adoption risks.
- Directs cross-functional teams across IT, data, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure deliverables meet EHS and business reporting objectives.
- Ensures adherence to quality, governance, and IT processes.
- Owns architecture and lifecycle of enterprise EHS systems and datasets.
- Leads dashboards and analytics using tools like Power BI and SharePoint.
- Delivers full lifecycle projects including UAT, rollout, and training.
- Collaborates across IT and EHS to build scalable solutions.
- Leads data governance and validation activities.
- Supports EHS compliance through systems and reporting.
What You Have:
- Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, Power Apps, and .NET.
- Strong data architecture and analytics skills.
- Experience delivering enterprise digital initiatives.
- Working knowledge of EHS regulations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Skills Descriptors:
- Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
- Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
- Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
- IT Project Control and Reporting: Knowledge of project control and reporting; ability to monitor the vital signs of an IT project while managing its progress and delivery schedule.
- IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.
- IT Standards, Procedures & Policies: Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) standards and policies; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.

- The location for this position is East Peoria, IL.
- Domestic relocation is available for qualified candidates.
- This role requires 5 days onsite.

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
